1. Agreement
By using Swanny ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
Swanny is an AI-powered cycling coaching application. It analyses your ride data from connected platforms (Strava, Zwift) to provide personalised training plans, ride assessments, weekly reviews, and progress tracking.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific coaching outcomes.
3. Not medical advice
Swanny provides cycling performance coaching, not medical advice. Training recommendations are generated by AI based on your ride data and should not replace professional medical guidance. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting or significantly changing an exercise programme, especially if you have health conditions.
You are solely responsible for your safety during any training or racing activity. Swanny is not liable for any injury, illness, or other harm resulting from following its recommendations.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Swanny. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account with others or use the Service for purposes other than personal cycling coaching.
5. Third-party connections
Swanny integrates with third-party services including Strava and Zwift. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.
When you connect a third-party account, you authorise Swanny to access your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time.
6. AI-generated content
Coaching content (assessments, reviews, training plans) is generated by AI. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, and confidence varies with the amount of data available. We display confidence indicators where applicable and clearly state when data is limited.
AI-generated content is for informational purposes and should be interpreted alongside your own judgment and experience.
7. Subscriptions and payment
Swanny offers a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and trial duration are displayed in the app and on our website.
Subscriptions purchased via the App Store or Google Play are governed by the respective platform's billing terms. Subscriptions purchased via our website are processed by Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
- Scrape, crawl, or automated-access the Service beyond normal use
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
9. Intellectual property
The Swanny name, logo, app design, and AI coaching system are our intellectual property. Your ride data remains yours — we claim no ownership over data you provide or sync.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swanny's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profit.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
